## Summary

The best Upflow alternatives are Paidnice, Chaser, Kolleno, Tesorio, Invoiced, ezyCollect, Satago and Credit Hound, split by revenue band and ledger. For mid-sized B2B teams, Paidnice fits Xero and QuickBooks Online up to $50m a year, Chaser UK businesses past £4m, and Tesorio enterprise SaaS teams on NetSuite. Upflow's pricing page is quote only, though its structured data lists Starter at $333 and Grow at $833 a month.

- **Paidnice:** Best for any business on Xero or QuickBooks Online up to $50m a year that wants late fees and interest applied automatically, from $69 a month (£49).
- **Chaser:** Best for larger UK businesses past £4m turnover that want bureau credit checks with their chasing, from £199 a month.
- **Kolleno:** Best for enterprise groups that need bank-file cash application, from $650 per user a month.
- **Tesorio:** Best for enterprise finance teams on NetSuite that want cash forecasting with collections; price on request.

## Why do businesses look for an Upflow alternative?

Businesses look for an Upflow alternative for three reasons: Upflow's pricing is now quote only on all five tiers (last reported at $440 for Grow and $880 for Scale in 2024), it applies no late fees or interest itself, and its automatic actions fire once a day on business days only.

**Pricing is quote only.** Upflow's pricing page shows five tiers by gross invoice value, Starter, Grow, Scale, Accelerate and Enterprise, each marked "Ask for a quote", with unlimited seats. The page's structured data still lists Starter at $333 and Grow at $833 a month, and third-party captures from 2024 put Grow at $440 and Scale at $880.

Upflow's one printed price, $390 a month, is the fee for its Payments add-on, not a platform subscription. The gross invoice value bands, the Payments add-on and annual costs at three business sizes are in [Upflow pricing and alternatives](https://www.paidnice.com/blog/upflow-pricing-alternatives).

**No late fees or interest.** Upflow will show you exactly who pays late, how late, and what it costs you. It will not charge anyone for it. Late fees are applied in your ERP, not in Upflow, and there are no payment plans beyond a customer choosing to pay part of a balance.

**The sending engine is constrained.** Automatic actions fire once a day, at a fixed organization-level time, on business days only. Sending through your own SMTP server is supported, but it switches off open and click tracking, so you trade the deliverability you wanted for the visibility you came for.

What Upflow does better than anything on this list is measurement: countback DSO against best-possible DSO, collection effectiveness, at-risk balances over 90 days, and cash forecasting by billing cohort. If the reporting is why you bought it, none of these tools match it.

## How do the eight Upflow alternatives compare on features and pricing?

Paidnice fits any business on Xero or QuickBooks Online up to $50m a year, Chaser larger UK businesses wanting bureau credit data, Kolleno enterprise groups, Tesorio enterprise NetSuite teams, [Invoiced](https://www.paidnice.com/invoiced-alternative) complex billing, ezyCollect AU and NZ trade, Satago small UK businesses that also want funding, and Credit Hound teams on Sage or Access. NetSuite teams choosing between enterprise tools can use the [HighRadius alternatives for NetSuite](https://www.paidnice.com/blog/netsuite-ar-software-alternatives) list.

Chaser and Kolleno are set against each other in [Chaser vs Kolleno](https://www.paidnice.com/blog/chaser-vs-kolleno).

## How we ranked these Upflow alternatives

Each criterion below is a column, or a group of columns, in the comparison table above. The five weights add up to 100%.

- **Price (20%):** the entry price a month, from each vendor's own pricing page.
- **Ledger and size fit (20%):** the accounting systems each tool connects to natively and the revenue or invoice volume its plans are built for, from each vendor's integration and plan pages.
- **Late fees and interest (20%):** whether the tool applies the fee and interest itself, per customer group or by one global rule, from each vendor's help docs.
- **Statements, payment plans, portal and analytics depth (25%):** from each vendor's help docs and product pages. We count shipped features only, not beta ones.
- **Reviews (15%):** ratings with the review count, from the Xero App Store or G2 as the table shows.

Prices come from each vendor's own pricing page, and a price a vendor hides is given as last reported, with the year. Features come from vendor help docs. Prices change, so verify before you buy. Ratings: [Paidnice](https://apps.xero.com/uk/app/paidnice/reviews), [Chaser](https://apps.xero.com/uk/app/chaser/reviews) and [ezyCollect](https://apps.xero.com/uk/app/ezycollect/reviews) on the Xero App Store; [Upflow](https://www.g2.com/products/upflow-upflow/reviews) and [Kolleno](https://www.g2.com/products/kolleno/reviews) on G2. Where no rating is published, the table says so.

Paidnice is our product. Every entry, Paidnice included, lists its limit. The weights are our editorial judgment.

## 1. Paidnice, best for businesses up to $50m

Paidnice is accounts receivable automation for businesses on Xero and QuickBooks Online: the late fees, interest, scheduled statements and payment plans Upflow leaves to your ERP, on one published price by invoice volume with no per-seat charge.

![Paidnice homepage](https://www.paidnice.com/images/blog/shots/paidnice-home.webp)
Fitsany business on Xero or QuickBooks Online, from its first invoice up to $50m a year or 50,000 invoices a year, with or without a credit controllerRegionsstrongest where Xero is strong (UK, Australia, New Zealand), plus the US, Canada and South AfricaEntry cost$69/mo (£49), 150 invoices; Pro from $99/mo (£74). No per-seat feesRated5.0/5 from 83 Xero App Store reviews; 4.9/5 on CapterraAwards🏆 2025 Xero Global Small Business App of the Year; 🏆 2026 New Zealand Small Business App of the Year, Xero Global App AwardsRuns onXero, QuickBooks Online, Stripe, Pinch Payments, HubSpot, Pipedrive, ZapierStatutory late feesin the UK, auto-indexed to the Bank of England base rate; everywhere else, set your own flat, percentage or compounding rates, per customer groupThe one thing it does besttwo charge types on the same group, an invoice late fee and a statement interest charge, both posted to the ledger

The best Upflow alternative for a business on Xero or QuickBooks Online is Paidnice, widely used for applying late fees and interest automatically, posting the fee to the ledger, and publishing its price at $69 a month (£49).

Paidnice is the direct answer to the late-fee gap Upflow leaves to your ERP. Fees and interest apply automatically per customer group, [statements](https://www.paidnice.com/automated-customer-statements) go out on any schedule including consolidated parent accounts, and [payment plans](https://www.paidnice.com/create-payment-plans) are a first-class feature rather than a customer-initiated part payment.

The fee lands on the ledger as a posted invoice, which is the only way it reaches your customer's payables system and their payment run. Customers see half as many late invoices in the first 30 days.

**Best suited for:** any business on Xero or QuickBooks Online, from its first invoice up to $50m a year or 50,000 invoices a year, with or without a credit controller.

**The limit:** The analytics are good, not category-leading; if countback DSO and cohort forecasting are why you bought Upflow, you will notice the difference. Built for Xero and QuickBooks Online only, with no bank-file cash application. Bureau credit checks run only through Creditsafe on Custom; native credit checks from payment behavior run on every plan.

## 2. Chaser, best for UK bureau credit checks

Chaser is one of the oldest names in UK credit control: reminders by email, SMS, posted letter and automated call, plus credit checks, from £199 a month by turnover band, with reporting that covers most of what Upflow shows.

![Chaser homepage](https://www.paidnice.com/images/blog/shots/chaser-home.webp)
FitsUK-centered businesses from £4m to £100m turnover with a named credit controllerRegionsUK-based; sells worldwideEntry cost£199/mo (about $259) on Compact, covering turnover to £4m; next tier £599/moRated4.98/5 from 374 Xero App Store reviewsRuns onXero, QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite, Dynamics 365, Gmail, OutlookStatutory late feesfour calculation types including the Bank of England base rate, but one global rule only; the rate cannot vary by customer groupThe one thing it does bestcredit checking and monitoring in the same tool as chasing by email, SMS, letter and automated call

If you liked Upflow's visibility but needed the tool to act as well as report, Chaser is the closest like-for-like move at mid-market scale. Reminders send from your own Gmail or Outlook inbox, which reads as a person rather than a platform.

Customers named on Chaser's website include Pact Coffee, Gipsy Hill Brewery and The New Statesman.

**Best suited for:** UK-centered businesses from £4m to £100m turnover with a named credit controller.

**The limit:** One global late-fee rule, statements monthly only on a fixed day, entry plans capped at four users, and an entry price that rose roughly four to five times when it moved from invoice tiers to revenue tiers. Our [Chaser alternatives guide](https://www.paidnice.com/blog/best-chaser-alternatives-2026) covers the trade-offs.

## 3. Kolleno, best for enterprise ERP groups

Kolleno is an AI order-to-cash platform for enterprise finance teams, priced from $650 per user a month, with cash application and reconciliation at a scale the SMB tools here do not attempt.

![Kolleno homepage](https://www.paidnice.com/images/blog/shots/kolleno-home.webp)
Fitsmulti-entity groups with a finance team on enterprise ERPs, priced per user by turnover bandRegionsLondon-based with global enterprise customersEntry cost$650 per user/mo (BusinessPay, $545 annual); next tier $1,245 per user/moRated4.9/5 from 99 G2 reviews; 5/5 from 18 Xero App Store reviewsRuns onNetSuite, SAP S/4HANA and B1, Sage Intacct, Dynamics 365, Workday, Xero, QuickBooks, SalesforceStatutory late feesnone found in their product or help materialsThe one thing it does bestcash application: remittance parsing, bank-file matching (BAI2, NACHA, ISO 20022) and foreign-exchange postings into NetSuite

Upflow has been building agentic cash application since 2026, but Kolleno has the deeper reconciliation estate: 36 help articles on matching alone, covering partials, credit-note offsets, FX differences and bank fees.

Customers named on Kolleno's website include Wise, Deel and Miro.

**Best suited for:** multi-entity groups with a finance team on enterprise ERPs, priced per user by turnover band.

**The limit:** Per-user pricing from $650 a seat is a different budget class, and no late-fee or interest feature was found, so you swap one late-fee gap for another. Our [Kolleno alternatives guide](https://www.paidnice.com/blog/best-kolleno-alternatives-2026) has the detail.

## 4. Tesorio, best for NetSuite cash forecasting

Tesorio is an AI order-to-cash platform for enterprise finance teams, covering collections, cash application and cash forecasting on NetSuite, Sage Intacct and QuickBooks; price on request.

![Tesorio homepage showing the headline Turn Revenue Into Cash. Reinvest in Growth Faster, with G2 badges above an AR forecast dashboard](https://www.paidnice.com/images/blog/competitors/tesorio-home.webp)

Tesorio is the closest match to Upflow's own buyer at enterprise scale: the same emphasis on forecasting and DSO, with cash application and a supplier-portal agent added. It is the tool most often named as the overall Upflow alternative for large finance teams.

Customers named on Tesorio's website include GitLab, Smartsheet and WP Engine.

**Best suited for:** enterprise finance teams with a dedicated collections function, most often B2B SaaS on NetSuite.

**The limit:** Quote-only pricing, no Xero connector listed, and no late-fee or interest feature verifiable from public materials, so a business under $50m on Xero or QuickBooks Online is paying for enterprise scope it will not use.

## 5. Invoiced, best for subscription billing

Invoiced is an invoice-to-cash platform, now part of Flywire, that puts billing, dunning and payments on one system for sellers whose invoicing itself is complicated; price on request.

![Invoiced by Flywire homepage showing the headline Get paid faster with AI-native accounts receivable automation and a Schedule a Demo button](https://www.paidnice.com/images/blog/competitors/invoiced-home.webp)
FitsUS mid-market and enterprise sellers with recurring or usage-based billingRegionsUnited States, with Flywire's international payment reachEntry costnot published; by quoteRatednot published in a source we could verifyRuns onNetSuite, Sage Intacct, Business Central, Xero, QuickBooks Online and DesktopStatutory late feesa late-fee automation page exists, but the behavior is not verifiable from public materialsThe one thing it does bestbilling and collections on one platform, so complex invoices and their follow-up never drift apart

Upflow reads billing data from your systems. Invoiced wants to be the billing system, which is the right trade if usage-based or recurring invoicing is where your errors originate.

Customers named on Invoiced's website include WebPT, Apartment Life and AJ Tutoring.

**Best suited for:** US mid-market and enterprise sellers with recurring or usage-based billing.

**The limit:** Quote-only pricing, a setup effort a small team will not recover, and an enterprise pivot since the Flywire acquisition that leaves the Xero and QuickBooks integrations looking secondary.

## 6. ezyCollect, best for MYOB trade businesses

ezyCollect is the Australia and New Zealand receivables specialist, owned by Sidetrade, with the deepest MYOB and local ERP coverage on this list plus Experian credit data, from about A$275 a month.

![ezyCollect homepage showing the headline Businesses with ezyCollect by Sidetrade get paid faster](https://www.paidnice.com/images/blog/competitors/ezycollect-home.webp)
FitsAU and NZ mid-market wholesale and trade businesses with 200-plus active debtorsRegionsAustralia and New Zealand, with US payment supportEntry costabout A$275/mo plus roughly A$900 setup, annual contract; next tier about A$950/mo; last published, ezyCollect now hides its prices, so request a quoteRated4.9/5 from 35 Xero App Store (AU) reviews; 4.7/5 on G2Runs onMYOB AccountRight, Exo and Essentials, Xero, QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP Business One, Pronto XiStatutory late feesnone; interest is handled manually in your ledgerThe one thing it does bestAU-native credit insights on Experian data plus the SimplyPaid payment portal

Upflow has no Australian or New Zealand content or presence to speak of. If your debtors are local and your ledger is MYOB, ezyCollect is the specialist. Our [ezyCollect alternatives guide](https://www.paidnice.com/blog/ezycollect-alternatives) covers the reverse move.

Customers named on ezyCollect's website include Feral Brewing, Hampers with Bite and CW Systems.

**Best suited for:** AU and NZ mid-market wholesale and trade businesses with 200-plus active debtors.

**The limit:** No late-fee or interest automation at all, and setup fees plus annual contracts make the true entry cost higher than the headline.

## 7. Satago, best for chasing plus invoice finance

Satago is a UK credit control and invoice finance hybrid for small businesses: the same login that reminds your customers can fund the invoice while you wait to be paid, from £45 a month.

![Satago homepage](https://www.paidnice.com/images/blog/shots/satago-home.webp)
Fitssmall UK businesses that want chasing and invoice finance in one loginRegionsUK onlyEntry cost£45 a month on Basic, then £80 and £200; £25 embedded in Sage 50Ratednot published in a source we could verifyRuns onXero, Sage, Sage 50, QuickBooks, KashFlow, FreeAgentStatutory late feesnot verifiable from public materialsThe one thing it does bestLloyds-backed single-invoice or whole-ledger finance inside the same product

Upflow measures the cash gap precisely. Satago funds it. For a small UK business, that is often the more useful answer to the same problem.

**Best suited for:** small UK businesses that want chasing and invoice finance in one login.

**The limit:** The platform is finance-first so the credit-control layer runs thinner, and depth on fees, sequences and statements is not verifiable from public materials.

## 8. Credit Hound, best for Sage or Access

Credit Hound is task-driven debtor management from Draycir that runs inside Sage 50, Sage 200 and Access: chase lists, disputes and promised payments in one queue; price on request.

![Credit Hound homepage showing the headline Improve cash flow with an automated credit control software, Credit Hound Cloud, beside a demo request form](https://www.paidnice.com/images/blog/competitors/credit-hound-home.webp)
FitsUK small and mid-market businesses on Sage 50, Sage 200 or AccessRegionsUK, from DraycirEntry costnot published; by quote through Draycir or a resellerRatednot published in a source we could verifyRuns onSage 50, Sage 200, Access, Dynamics; no Xero or QuickBooks Online pathStatutory late feesnot verifiable from public materialsThe one thing it does besta structured chase queue for a credit controller who lives inside Sage all day

This is the opposite philosophy to Upflow: no dashboards to admire, just today's call list inside the ERP.

**Best suited for:** UK small and mid-market businesses on Sage 50, Sage 200 or Access.

**The limit:** It is an ERP add-on, not a platform, so it is the wrong shape entirely if you run Xero or QuickBooks Online, and pricing is only available through a quote.

## Which Upflow alternative should you choose?

The right Upflow alternative depends on the gap you are closing: Paidnice applies fees and interest on Xero or QuickBooks up to $50m a year, Chaser adds bureau credit checks for UK teams past £4m, Kolleno handles reconciliation, and Invoiced owns the billing.

| Your annual revenue | Upflow alternatives that fit | The published gate |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Under $1m | Paidnice, Satago, Credit Hound | Paidnice publishes $69 a month; Satago publishes from £45 a month and Credit Hound quotes. Kolleno BusinessPay also covers this band, at $650 per user. |
| $1m to $10m | Paidnice, Kolleno, ezyCollect, Satago | Paidnice Pro from $99 with unlimited users; Kolleno Business Plus covers £1M to £100M; ezyCollect ezyStart covers 200 debtors. Upflow Starter covers this band by quote. |
| $10m to $50m | Paidnice, Chaser, Kolleno, Invoiced, ezyCollect | Paidnice fits up to $50m or 50,000 invoices a year; Chaser Core covers turnover to £10m; Kolleno Business Plus to £100M; Invoiced quotes. |
| Over $50m | Chaser, Kolleno, Tesorio, Invoiced | Chaser Complete; Kolleno Enterprise (from £100M); Tesorio and Invoiced enterprise deployments, by quote. Upflow's own Accelerate and Enterprise tiers sit here. |

- **You need fees and interest applied automatically.** Paidnice on Xero or QuickBooks, per customer group; Chaser if one global rule is enough and you want bureau credit checks too.
- **You left on price, or on the lack of one.** Paidnice publishes $69 a month (£49). Everything else here is either a quote or, in Kolleno's case, per user.
- **Reconciliation is the real workload.** Kolleno, if you have the ERP and the budget.
- **Forecasting at enterprise scale is why you bought Upflow.** Tesorio, on NetSuite or Sage Intacct, by quote.
- **Billing itself is the problem.** Invoiced, because the billing engine and the dunning share a platform.
- **Your debtors are in Australia or New Zealand.** ezyCollect, with late-payment terms written into the contract.
- **You need funding as well as visibility.** Satago at the small UK end.
- **The analytics are why you bought Upflow.** Stay, or run Upflow's reporting alongside a tool that applies the fee. Nothing here matches its reporting.

**💡 Paidnice insight**

The pairing we see most often is not a replacement at all. Teams keep Upflow for the reporting their board wants, and apply the fee somewhere it posts to the ledger. Measuring the aging profile and changing it are two different jobs, and one tool rarely does both well.

## Frequently asked questions

### What is the best Upflow alternative in 2026?

The best Upflow alternative depends on the gap. Chaser is the closest like-for-like at mid-market scale with bureau credit checks added, and Tesorio is the usual enterprise pick for NetSuite teams that want forecasting. For businesses on Xero or QuickBooks Online that want fees and interest applied automatically, Paidnice covers the most ground at $69 a month (£49). Kolleno is the answer only if cash application at enterprise volume is the real problem.

### How much does Upflow cost?

Upflow's pricing page is quote only, though its structured data lists Starter at $333 and Grow at $833 a month. The five tiers, Starter, Grow, Scale, Accelerate and Enterprise, are set by gross invoice value with unlimited seats. Third-party captures from 2024 recorded Grow at $440 a month and Scale at $880; treat those as historical.

### Does Upflow charge late fees?

Not natively. Upflow's own documentation points you at applying late payment fees in NetSuite, so the fee is computed and posted by your ERP rather than by Upflow. If automatic fees or statutory interest are the reason you are shopping, this is the specific gap to close.

### Is there a cheaper Upflow alternative?

Paidnice publishes the lowest entry price here at $69 a month (£49) for 150 invoices with no per-seat charge, and [Chaser starts at](https://www.paidnice.com/blog/chaser-pricing-alternatives) £199 a month. Every other tool on this list quotes privately, which usually means the answer depends on your revenue rather than your usage.

### Which Upflow alternative is best for a small business?

On Xero or QuickBooks Online, Paidnice, because it is the only tool at this price that applies late fees and interest, issues statements and holds payment plans without a per-seat charge. Upflow itself is built for mid-market and enterprise teams, so a small business was never its target buyer.

### Which Upflow alternatives work with Xero?

Paidnice, Chaser, Kolleno, Invoiced, ezyCollect and Satago all list a Xero connection. Tesorio lists no Xero connector, and Credit Hound runs on Sage, Access and Dynamics only.

### Which Upflow alternative applies late fees automatically?

Paidnice applies fees and interest per customer group and posts them to the ledger. Chaser applies late fees on one global rule. Kolleno and ezyCollect have no late-fee feature, and Upflow itself leaves fees to your ERP.

### Which Upflow alternative suits an enterprise NetSuite team?

Tesorio, for cash forecasting with collections, or Kolleno, for bank-file cash application at enterprise volume. Tesorio is price on request and [Kolleno charges](https://www.paidnice.com/blog/kolleno-pricing-alternatives) from $650 per user a month.

### Which Upflow alternative suits a mid-sized SaaS company?

For a mid-sized SaaS company, the ledger decides. On Xero or QuickBooks Online with Stripe, Paidnice chases and applies late fees and interest from $69 a month (£49). On NetSuite, Paidnice runs the same chasing on the Custom plan with a two-way sync, Tesorio adds cash forecasting to collections, and Invoiced fits when subscription billing is part of the problem.

Read the transcript: Upflow Alternatives 2026: Pricing, Late Fees, Best Fit

The best Upflow alternatives in order, are Paidnice, Chaser, Kolleno, Tesorio, Invoiced, ezyCollect, Satago, and Credit Hound. Paidnice is number one for any business on Xero or QuickBooks Online up to $50 million a year. Upflow applies no late fees itself and quotes its price.

Xero data shows US small businesses wait about 29 days to be paid. We ranked each tool on its entry price, the size of business it fits, the accounting systems it connects to, and whether it applies late fees automatically. Number one, Paidnice. Best for any business up to $50 million a year on Xero or QuickBooks Online that wants late fees and interest applied automatically.

It raises the late fee as its own invoice on the ledger per customer group and send statements on any schedule. Its accounts receivable AI reads every customer reply and drafts the answer a person approves. A person can call from inside Paidnice, recorded and transcribed.

Each customer gets a credit score from how they pay. It starts at $69 a month, priced by invoice volume with no charge per user. Payment plans in your own sending domain come with pro from $99.

Customers see half as many late invoices in the first 30 days. The limitation is reporting that is good, not category leading. Number two, Chaser.

Best for larger UK businesses that want bureau credit checks with their chasing. It sends reminders from your own mailbox and adds credit checks from 199 pounds a month. The limitation is one global late fee rule and entry plans capped at four users. Number three, Kolleno. Best for large groups on enterprise accounting systems that match bank payments to invoices.

It costs $650 a month for each user. The limitation is that per user price, and we found no late fee or interest feature. Number four, Tesorio. Best for enterprise NetSuite teams that want cash forecasting with their collections.

It covers collections and forecasting on NetSuite, and you ask for a price. The limitation is no Xero connector listed and no late fee feature we could find. Number five, Invoiced. Best for sellers whose billing itself is complicated, such as subscription invoicing.

It puts billing, chasing, and payments on one system, and you ask for a price. The limitation is a setup effort a small team will not recover. Number six, ezyCollect.

Best for Australia and New Zealand trade businesses on MYOB that have 200 or more It has the deepest MYOB coverage on this list, from about 275 Australian dollars a month. The limitation is no late fee or interest automation, plus setup fees and annual contracts. Number seven, Satago.

Best for small UK businesses that also want invoice finance in the same login as their The same login that reminds your customers can fund the invoice while you wait, from 45 pounds a month. The limitation is that it is finance first, so the depth of its fees and statements is not verifiable. Number eight, Credit Hound.

Best for UK teams already running Sage or Access that want one daily chase list. It runs chase lists and disputes in one queue inside Sage and Access, and you ask for a price. The limitation is that it is an add-on, so it is the wrong shape if you run Xero or QuickBooks Online.

The right Upflow alternative depends on the gap you are closing. And for most Xero and QuickBooks Online businesses, that gap is late fees and interest. If you need fees and interest applied automatically, choose Paidnice on Xero or QuickBooks.

If matching payments is the work, choose Kolleno. If you want forecasting for a large company, choose Tesorio. If the analytics are why you bought Upflow, keep it and add a tool that applies the fee. For a business on Xero or QuickBooks Online, Paidnice is the best Upflow alternative from $69 a month.
