ezyCollect pricing and alternatives: the last published list prices are A$275, A$950 and A$2,350 a month ex-GST on an annual contract, plus a setup fee of A$900 to A$3,900. Five other tools price the same job from A$99 a month to $650 per user.
Key takeaways
ezyCollect lists three tiers: ezyStart at A$275, ezyGrow at A$950 and ezyScale at A$2,350 a month, all ex-GST and all on an annual contract. A custom ezyUltimate tier sits above them.
These are the last published list prices (ezyCollect published pricing). Annual billing is the base price. Paying monthly adds 20%. Prices checked September 2026; confirm current pricing with the vendor.
| Tier | Monthly price (annual contract) | Monthly price (billed monthly, +20%) | Included | Capped or gated |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ezyStart | A$275 ex-GST | A$330 ex-GST | Reminders, statements, payment portal, 1 workflow | 200 debtors, 3 users, 1 workflow; A$900 setup fee |
| ezyGrow | A$950 ex-GST | A$1,140 ex-GST | As above with 3 workflows and more credit scores | 500 debtors, 5 users, 3 workflows; setup up to A$3,900 |
| ezyScale | A$2,350 ex-GST | A$2,820 ex-GST | As above with 5 workflows and the highest score allowance | 1,500 debtors, 10 users, 5 workflows; setup up to A$3,900 |
| ezyUltimate | Custom | Custom | Everything, sized for larger ledgers | 3,000 debtors, 20 users, 10 workflows; setup up to A$3,900 |
All figures are in Australian dollars and exclude GST. A 14-day trial is offered. Payment processing, SMS, mail, fax, demand letters and paid credit reports are charged on top of the tier price.
ezyCollect was acquired by Sidetrade in October 2025 for about €37m and relaunched on 15 July 2026 as New ezyCollect, with an AI layer called AIMIE built into the platform.
Sidetrade completed the purchase on 27 October 2025, with an earn-out tied to revenue growth running to 2028. The Sydney-founded company had about 53 staff at the time and projected A$14m revenue for 2025 (ezyCollect and Sidetrade announcements).
AIMIE, as shipped today, gives daily collection-priority recommendations and benchmarking, and drives event-based automation in the reminder workflows. Sidetrade describes it as trained on its own B2B payments data lake. Treat any further AIMIE capability as announced rather than available until ezyCollect documents it.
Long-standing customers on older plans should ask which tier their renewal maps to, since the caps and the setup fee shown above may be new to their contract.
ezyCollect sets the tier by three caps, debtors, users and workflows, then bills setup, card fees, messaging and collections activity separately, starting with a one-off A$900 setup fee.
| Priced separately | Cost |
|---|---|
| Setup fee | A$900 on ezyStart, up to A$3,900 on ezyGrow and above, paid once |
| Card payments | 1.75% + A$0.30 per transaction plus a A$90 (+GST) monthly gateway fee; New Zealand cards 2.90% + $0.30; surcharging can pass the fee to the customer |
| Messaging | Email included; SMS, mail and fax charged per message |
| Credit data | 40 to 140 credit scores a month by tier, paid report add-ons above that |
| Demand letters | A$49 (+GST) each, sent in-app |
| Collector referral | Commission from 25% of the amount recovered, via external partners |
Late fees and interest are not part of the platform, so there is no line for them and no offset from fee income (ezyCollect help centre).
ezyCollect costs A$4,200 in year one for a small trade business on an annual contract, up to A$15,300 for a mid-sized wholesaler and up to A$32,100 for a A$20m distributor, before payment and messaging fees.
Three sizes, each placed on the lowest tier whose caps they fit. Figures are ex-GST and exclude card fees, SMS and demand letters.
A$2m revenue, 150 debtors, 2 users. ezyStart. A$275 x 12 = A$3,300 a year. Add the A$900 setup fee and year one is A$4,200. Year two onward is A$3,300. On monthly billing the subscription is A$330 x 12 = A$3,960.
A$8m revenue, 400 debtors, 4 users. ezyGrow, because 400 debtors is over the 200 cap. A$950 x 12 = A$11,400 a year. With setup at up to A$3,900, year one is up to A$15,300. On monthly billing the subscription is A$1,140 x 12 = A$13,680.
A$20m revenue, 1,200 debtors, 8 users. ezyScale. A$2,350 x 12 = A$28,200 a year. With setup at up to A$3,900, year one is up to A$32,100. On monthly billing the subscription is A$2,820 x 12 = A$33,840.
If any of the three takes card payments through the platform, add the gateway fee: A$90 x 12 = A$1,080 a year plus 1.75% + A$0.30 on every transaction. A business collecting A$500,000 by card over the year pays about A$8,750 in percentage fees before the per-transaction cents.
ezyCollect earns its A$275 to A$2,350 a month for Australian and New Zealand mid-market businesses with a few hundred debtors, an ERP such as MYOB Exo, Pronto or SAP Business One, and a need for credit checks and collections in one tool.
The strongest case is a trade or wholesale business on an ERP the smaller tools skip. ezyCollect covers MYOB AccountRight, Exo and Acumatica, NetSuite, Dynamics, Sage 300 and Intacct, SAP B1, Pronto Xi and Attaché, alongside Xero and QuickBooks Online. If your ledger is on that list and you want illion credit data in the same workflow, the tier price buys something the cheaper apps do not offer.
| Fits | Overpays |
|---|---|
| 200 or more debtors and an ERP such as MYOB Exo, Pronto Xi, SAP B1 or Acumatica | Under 200 debtors on Xero or QuickBooks Online: A$3,300 a year plus A$900 setup for one workflow and three seats |
| Wants illion credit checks, demand letters and collector referral in one platform | Wants late fees or interest on overdue invoices: the platform does not offer them |
| Needs the full order-to-cash scope: risk groups, statements, payment plans, portal, cash application with ERP write-back | Has customers outside the workflow window: they receive no automated follow-up at all |
| Can commit to an annual contract and a setup project | Renewing from the 2018 and 2019 Xero plans, which ran A$45 to A$155 a month, onto today's tiers |
One published Xero App Store review describes a sales quote that came in well above the advertised price, so treat the list price as a starting point and get the setup fee in writing. The ezyCollect alternatives guide covers the feature gaps in more depth.
ezyCollect's A$275 entry price sits between five alternatives: CreditorWatch Collect and Paidnice for the Australian small and mid-market, Chaser for larger UK teams, and Upflow and Kolleno for enterprise groups on NetSuite and SAP.
Each option below is size-led, with the pricing unit and one honest limitation. Prices are the vendor's native currency with USD in brackets where the vendor does not bill in USD.
| Tool | Best for | Revenue fit | Pricing unit | From (monthly) | Late fees | One limitation |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| CreditorWatch Collect | AU businesses wanting human callers | AU small and mid-market | Custom quote | Not published | No | Escalation calls still yours |
| Chaser | Larger UK teams, every channel | About £4m+ | Revenue band | £199 (about $259) | Yes, one global rule | Metered SMS, calls, letters |
| Paidnice | Xero and QBO reminders, statements, optional fees | $1m to $20m | Invoice volume | $69 / £49 / A$99 | Yes, fee and interest | No credit checks |
| ezyCollect | AU and NZ mid-market on MYOB and other ERPs | Mid-market, 200+ debtors | Debtor, user, workflow caps | A$275 plus A$900 setup | No | Caps force tier jumps |
| Upflow | Analytics-led finance teams | Up to $10m and above | Invoiced revenue band | Quote only (last list $440) | ERP only | Once-daily weekday sends |
| Kolleno | Multi-entity groups on enterprise ERPs | $1m+, enterprise | Per user | $650 per user ($545 annual) | None found | Every seat adds to the bill |
For the per-seat maths see what a Kolleno team of 3, 5 or 10 pays, and for the revenue-band model see Upflow pricing and alternatives. The Chaser pricing and alternatives guide covers Compact, Core and Complete. Across the whole category, credit control software pricing compares every pricing model. The ezyCollect alternative page sets Paidnice and ezyCollect side by side.
Paidnice starts at $69 a month (£49, A$99) and is priced by the number of invoices you send each month, not by your revenue, your debtor count or your seat count. Pro includes unlimited users, with no contracts or lock-ins.
Essentials covers 150 invoices a month with two team members at $69 (£49, A$99). Pro starts at $99 (£74, A$139) for 300 invoices, then scales by volume: $179 (£129, A$269) for 600, $279 (£199, A$419) for 1,000, $489 (£349, A$679) for 2,000, up to $799 (£599, A$1,199) for 4,000. Custom, from $999 (£749, A$1,499), adds ERP integrations such as NetSuite and MYOB (Paidnice pricing).
The same three Australian businesses on Pro, with an assumed invoice volume for each, annual cost ex-GST:
Each tier includes email and SMS reminders, automatic statements, payment plans, a customer portal and escalation workflows. SMS is A$0.15 each. Late fees and interest are included and optional: switch them on per customer group when you want overdue invoices to cost the customer something, and waive them deliberately when you do not.
The honest limits: Paidnice runs natively on Xero and QuickBooks Online, has no credit checks, and is not built for enterprise groups.
💡 Paidnice insight
A late fee earns its keep when it lands on the ledger, so it enters the customer's payables and their payment run. Priced by invoice volume, a growing customer list costs nothing extra, and customers cut their average wait for payment in half, within 30 days.
ezyCollect has no free plan, prices by tier rather than per user, charges 1.75% + A$0.30 on cards plus a monthly gateway fee, and adds a one-off setup fee on every tier.
The last published list prices are A$275 (ezyStart), A$950 (ezyGrow) and A$2,350 (ezyScale) a month ex-GST on an annual contract. Billed monthly, those become A$330, A$1,140 and A$2,820. ezyUltimate is quoted. Confirm current pricing with ezyCollect.
No free plan is published. ezyCollect offers a 14-day trial, after which the lowest tier is ezyStart at A$275 a month ex-GST plus a A$900 setup fee.
No. Each tier includes a fixed number of users: 3 on ezyStart, 5 on ezyGrow, 10 on ezyScale and 20 on ezyUltimate. To add a user beyond the cap you move to the next tier, which also raises the debtor and workflow limits.
Card payments cost 1.75% + A$0.30 per transaction in Australia (2.90% + $0.30 in New Zealand), plus a A$90 (+GST) monthly gateway fee. Automatic and customer-level surcharging can pass the card fee to the payer. Direct debit, EFT and US ACH are also supported.
For an Australian business with under 200 debtors on Xero or QuickBooks Online, ezyCollect's year one is A$4,200 ex-GST for one workflow, three seats and no late fee automation. Paidnice starts at A$99 a month with no setup fee listed; CreditorWatch Collect is quoted per business. ezyCollect is worth its price when you need MYOB Exo, Pronto or SAP B1 coverage, illion credit checks or collector referral in one tool.
Paidnice is accounts receivable automation that enforces your payment terms, trusted by thousands of businesses on Xero and QuickBooks. Credit control and debtor management, run for you.
