Paidnice is credit management software for small and mid-sized businesses on Xero and QuickBooks. It manages the credit you have already given: a payment-history score for every customer, credit-limit alerts, credit holds, reminders, statements and late fees.

Every customer has a payment-history score from 1 to 100, shown against the contact everywhere in Paidnice. The score uses each customer's payment history with you.
"Full control of automation, easily collect and stay on top of your accounts receivable without worry of rubbing your customers the wrong way."
An escalation starts on a credit-limit breach, a total balance you set, or a set number of days overdue. It is a Phone Call, a Stop Credit or a Template Legal Letter, assigned to a person.
"This app is a manual time saver, it has become a real tool for everyday in our organisation and our credit control has improved quite a bit."
Late fees and interest apply automatically after the grace period you set. You can waive or credit a fee inside Paidnice.
"Automated emailing of account statements and managing late payment fees / interest charges as an incentive for customers to pay on time has helped enormously with our cashflow."
Put customers into groups, and each group runs its own policy. Different groups can run different late fee policies at the same time.
"The app is working perfectly! The grouping system has really made the difference. Easy to administer and any question has been answered by the Paidnice team within no-time! Hugely recommended!"
Credit management has two jobs: deciding who gets credit, and managing the credit you have given. ERP credit platforms sell the first job with bureau data. A business on Xero or QuickBooks mostly needs the second job.
| What it includes | ERP credit platforms | Paidnice | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Decide who gets credit | Bureau reports, credit applications, limit approval | Yes | No |
| Manage the credit you have given | Score, limit alerts, holds, reminders, statements, late fees | Varies by vendor | Yes |
| System it connects to | Where the invoices live | An ERP such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics | Xero or QuickBooks Online |
| Outside data | Credit bureau reports | Yes. Bureau reports are bought separately | None. The score uses each customer's payment history with you |
| Best fit | Company size | Enterprise finance teams on an ERP | Small and mid-sized businesses |
Credit control is the daily work inside the second job. For that term, see credit control software and debtor management software.

Paidnice runs the daily work of credit management from your ledger. Each part below follows the policy you set for each customer group.
Nothing changes in Xero or QuickBooks unless a rule you set makes it happen. Paidnice connects through the official Xero and QuickBooks integrations, so we never see your accounting password.

Credit management software controls the credit a business gives its customers. It covers two jobs: deciding who gets credit, and managing the credit already given with monitoring, reminders, statements, late fees and escalation. Paidnice does the second job for businesses on Xero and QuickBooks Online.
Credit management is the full policy: who gets credit, how much, on what terms, and how the terms are applied. Credit control is the daily work inside that policy: monitoring accounts, sending reminders and statements, and following up overdue invoices. Paidnice automates the credit control part and the terms enforcement around it.
Character: does the customer have a record of paying what they owe. Capacity: can their cash flow cover the debt. Capital: how much of their own money is in the business. Collateral: what assets secure the credit. Conditions: what the economy and their industry look like now. The five C's guide the decision to give credit. Paidnice works after that decision.
No. Paidnice does not run bureau credit checks or process credit applications. It scores each customer from 1 to 100 on their own payment history with you, and alerts you when a customer goes over their credit limit. A credit-limit breach can trigger an escalation, such as Stop Credit, along with other actions. A bureau report from your preferred provider can sit beside it.
Yes. Paidnice is made for small and mid-sized businesses on Xero or QuickBooks. It works from the invoices already in your accounting system, and open invoices are picked up when you connect. Every action has an approval step, so you stay in control.
